The box showed up smashed, which made a bad first impression right away. The packaging felt really poor and didn’t seem like it was protected well at all.

I’m disappointed with these. For the price, I really thought they’d hold up better, but they started showing wear after way less use than I expected. The soles wore down, the material started looking rough, and overall they just didn’t feel durable. I kept noticing the same issue over and over, they just don’t seem built to last. Maybe I got a bad pair, but they didn’t feel tough at all. Really frustrating, and I wouldn’t buy them again

Liked these boots overall. Felt comfortable and had decent grip, but slipped a little on wet paths. Still good, just wish the traction was a bit stronger.

I’m not sure if I expected too much, but my feet started getting cold quickly when I wore these on winter walks. They might be okay for milder days, but for actual cold weather, I don’t think they really worked for me.

I did get my refund in the end, so credit where it’s due, but it took longer than I thought it would. I had to chase them once, which, i was hoping I wouldn’t need to do, and then it got sorted. Not a bad experience exactly, just felt like it could’ve been a bit smoother.

I was browsing for a new pair of boots and liked the overall style right away. They have that clean, classic look that’s easy to wear with a lot of outfits. The site was simple to get around too, so I didn’t have any trouble checking things out. My only thing is that after a while, some of the designs started to feel a little too similar, so I wish there were a few more standout options.

The site does what it is supposed to do, but it can feel a bit clunky at times. Some pages load slower than I expected, so it is not the smoothest experience, but it still gets the job done

I picked up a pair of Le Chameau boots for dog walks and soggy weekends, i’ve got to blame the dog a bit because now I don’t want to wear anything else. They were comfy straight away, no rubbing or awkward breaking-in, even after a properly long walk. The lining feels nice and soft too, and they don’t have that clunky, heavy feel some wellies seem to think is acceptable.
Sizing was spot on for me and delivery was all fine, so no complaints there. They’re definitely not the cheapest boots, but my feet stay warm, dry, and comfortable, so I can’t really argue with it. If these ever wear out, which hopefully won’t be anytime soon, I’d buy them again.

The stitching feels tidy and the rubber has that sturdy, well-made feel to it. I mostly remember being impressed by how solid they felt right away. The only thing that sticks out on the downside is that they took longer to break in than I thought they would, but once they started softening up, they were much better.

I went with my usual size, which is always my first test with shoes, and the pattern held up here: they fit just right. There’s enough room around the toes without feeling loose, and I didn’t get any rubbing at the heel.

I had to chase customer service a few times just to get updates on my order, which was ridiculous. When they did reply, it took a while and the answers were kind of vague. The boots themselves are fine, but the whole support experience made everything way more annoying than it needed to be.

I’m not totally sure I’d pay full price for them, but the boots do feel really solid so far and seem like they should hold up well. I grabbed mine on sale, and at that price, I think the value was fair overall.

I bought these boots thinking the warranty would actually mean something if there was a problem. After normal use they split, so I contacted support. They kept asking me for more photos and info, then just kind of stopped replying alltogether. felt like they were just trying to get out of dealing with it. I wouldnt buy from Le Chameau again...

Ordered from lechameau.com and the boots arrived fine. No real drama with delivery, everything turned up as expected.

Had my main issue with the sizing. Went with my usual size, but felt tighter than I thought they would, especially around the foot. Not awful, just not as comfy right out of the box.
Would probably check the size guide really carefully, or maybe go up if between sizes. Lovely quality boots, just wish the fit had been a bit more accurate.
